NEW NEW NEW Roman Klonek prints
Escape with me, woodcut, 490 x 690 mm, £350 (unframed)
Fresh from his studio in Dusseldorf, Roman has updated his selection with us, with glossy, new prints! Always in small editions, Roman’s blocky woodcuts are quirky to say the least.
Roman works with knives and chisels into plywood and only makes about ten prints in each edition. He uses the same piece of wood for each colour – progressively removing areas and printing the colours in layers.
The prints smell really inky. Lovely!

Roman Klonek wood cuts
Based in Dusseldorf, Roman has been with us since his exhibition at Castor and Pollux last October. His hands-on approach to printmaking means that each print is different.
